for 1988, 27in. nitro chopperlump barrels, the rib engraved in script 'The "Cavalier"', the tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 33 BRUTON STREET LONDON', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, scroll-back action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, rolled-edge triggerguard, partially engraved with acanthus scrollwork with ornate bordering, the makers name inlaid in gold to the sides, the underside inlaid in gold with 'THE "CAVALIER"', retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. figured stock, weight 5lb. 8oz., together with a Brady canvas slip
